Amendments to (1) any provision of the police pension and relief fund, also known
as the old hire police pension plan, as contained in C.R.S., section 31-30.5-603 and
C.R.S., section 31-30.5-704, and as contained in and modified by Denver Code sections 18-550 through 18-566; and to (2) any provision of the old hire fire fighters pension plan, as contained
in C.R.S., section 31-30.5-604 and C.R.S., section 31-30.5-705, and as contained in
and modified by Denver Code sections 18-571 through 18-581, shall only be made pursuant to and in compliance with C.R.S., section 31-30.5-210,
with Charter sections 9.6.11 (police) and 9.5.12 (fire fighters), and in compliance with the corresponding sections of any amendments
to said statute and Charter sections.
