Before entering upon the duties of office, every officer elected or appointed shall
take and subscribe before a Judge of a Court of Record, and file with the Clerk of
the City and County, an oath or affirmation supporting the constitutions of the United
States and of the State of Colorado, the Charter and ordinances of the City and County,
and indicating that the officer will faithfully perform the duties of the office.
