§ 9-9. Registry of sales.

Every person engaged in the business of conducting auction sales or conducting an auction house shall keep a permanently bound book or register containing an itemized list of all goods or lots which the person or auction house may sell at any auction, the name of the owner or for whom or for whose account they were sold, the selling price, and the date of sale and the purchase and the purchaser's name, address and telephone number. Such book or register shall be kept current and shall be available for inspection by any duly authorized representative of the city at all reasonable hours.
