Article XV. VALET PARKING SERVICES |
§ 55-423. Valet location license.
Any person or entity, including the valet client business itself, who meets all of the following requirements may obtain or renew a valet location license:
(a)
The applicant completes and signs an application on forms prescribed by the director;
(b)
The application and license fees are paid;
(c)
The applicant holds a valid valet operator license or is a business operating on the same face block as the location for which the license is being sought;
(d)
If the applicant is not the valet client business itself, the applicant submits written proof that the applicant has been hired by the valet client business to perform services as a valet operator at the specific location; and
(e)
The applicant obtains approval from the city traffic engineer of a valet parking plan for the valet client business as provided in this article.
