§ 54-544. Drivers to exercise due care.

Notwithstanding the other provisions of this article, every driver of a vehicle shall exercise due care to avoid colliding with any pedestrian upon any roadway and shall give warning whenever necessary and shall exercise proper caution upon observing any child or any confused, blind or incapacitated person upon a roadway, sidewalk area or other public way.
