§ 54-279. All vehicles must stop at certain railroad grade crossings.

  • The city traffic engineer is hereby authorized to designate particularly dangerous highway or street grade crossings of railroads and to erect stop signs or signals thereat. When such stop signs are erected, the driver of any vehicle shall stop at such sign and shall then proceed only with caution and the exercise of due care after so stopping. When such signals are erected, the driver of any vehicle shall be governed by the operation of a traffic-control signal as established in section 54-101.
