§ 54-182. Losing right-of-way.

  • Any person who drives a vehicle in such a manner as to constitute a violation of this Code, and such violation interferes with the ability of another driver to yield the right-of-way to such person, shall lose the right-of-way which such person would have had under ordinary circumstances. Any person who commits any violation of this chapter shall not lose the right-of-way per se, but it shall be the responsibility of the court hearing such cause to determine whether such violation interfered with the ability of the other driver to so yield.
