§ 54-127. Drinking alcoholic beverages prohibited in vehicles on a public way.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drink any intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverage while in a vehicle which is moving, parked, stopped or standing on any street, roadway or other public way in the city; or for the driver, owner or person in control of any vehicle to permit any person to drink intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverages therein while the same is being driven, or is stopped, standing or parked on any street, roadway or other public way in the city.
