Article XII. CHARGES FOR COUNTY JAIL INMATES |
§ 53-511. Charges for board of county jail work release inmates.
(a)
The charge for board for each inmate of the county jail who is gainfully employed under C.R.S. Section 17-26-128 shall be one (1) of the following amounts:
(1)
Ten dollars ($10.00) per day for each day of employment for inmates who were bona fide residents of the city at the time of incarceration.
(2)
Eighteen dollars ($18.00) per day for each day of employment for inmates who were not bona fide residents of the city at the time of incarceration.
(b)
The director of corrections and undersheriff of the city is hereby delegated authority to modify the above amounts from time to time, based on, and justified by, a cost analysis conducted jointly with the budget and management office of the city; provided that the amount for bona fide residents set out in (1) above shall not exceed fifteen dollars ($15.00) and the amount for non-residents set out in (2) above shall not exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
