§ 49-652. Revocation of license for failure to reconstruct; re-let of construction.

(a)

The manager of public works may recommend revocation of the license of a contractor who fails or refuses to comply with a written notice hereunder; and, upon receipt of such recommendation, the director of excise and licenses shall commence revocation proceedings in accordance with the provisions of article I of chapter 32.

(b)

In the event of such failure or refusal to comply with such written notice, the manager of public works or his designated representative may re-let the work of construction or reconstruction, and the contractor shall be responsible for the cost of said work.
