§ 49-519. Physical requirements.
Placing planters may be permitted where the following conditions are met:
(1)
Planters may be placed no closer than two (2) feet to the roadway edge.
(2)
Planters must be placed so that no less than a ten (10) foot unobstructed public sidewalk remains in the central business district or a five (5) foot unobstructed public sidewalk remains elsewhere.
(3)
Planters may not interfere with the safe and efficient passage of pedestrians, and specifically may not impede pedestrian access to or use of traffic control devices or other street furniture.
(4)
Planters may not be less than twenty-four (24) inches above the level of the sidewalk.
