§ 34-76. Confirmation of ownership.

Prior to commencing an action to seize a motor vehicle under this article, the child support enforcement division shall confirm with the city department of motor vehicles the registration of the motor vehicle targeted, to insure the obligor is the registered owner or co-owner as described in section 34-73 and confirm the name/address of obligor and the name/address of any lien holders for said motor vehicle.
