§ 34-74. Ordinance not governed by Revised Municipal Code, chapter 54, traffic regulations.

The authority of the child support enforcement division to seize a motor vehicle under this article is pursuant to a writ of execution on the judgment as described in section 34-72 above. Nothing in this article granting the child support enforcement division authority to seize a motor vehicle is governed by or is pursuant to Revised Municipal Code, chapter 54, traffic regulations, section 54-789 and section 54-811, division 2, impoundment and disposition of vehicles, in which the city may impound automobiles for obstruction of traffic or failure to pay/respond to parking violations or other charges pursuant to chapter 54. The provisions of Revised Municipal Code, chapter 54 traffic regulations, section 54-900, vehicle impoundment hearings do not apply to this article.
