§ 34-71. Definitions.

  • Booting shall mean installing on, or attaching to a motor vehicle, a device designed to restrict the normal movement of such vehicle.

    Motor vehicle shall mean any self-propelled vehicle, which is designed primarily for travel on the public highways and which is generally and commonly used to transport persons and property over the public highways. The term does not include motorized bicycles, wheelchairs or vehicles moved solely by human power. This definition shall be construed so as to be consistent with C.R.S. 14-10-122(1.5)(d)(II).

    Nonpayment of child support shall mean current unpaid child support that has been reduced to a judgment, a judgment for child support debt or a judgment for retroactive child support.

    Obligor shall mean any person owing a duty of support or against whom a proceeding for the establishment or enforcement of a duty of support is commenced. This definition is pursuant to C.R.S. 26-13.5-102(12).
