§ 32-8. Rebate of fee.

  • If property whereon a licensed business is situated is taken for public use or the improvements thereon destroyed by fire to such an extent that continuation in business is impractical, or if any other such involuntary termination of such business occurs, the license may terminate upon the election of the licensee and the license fee may be rebated in proportionate part to such fee as the number of months remaining the license period, beginning with the first day of the month next following such termination, bear to twelve (12); provided, however, if any license is revoked, no such rebate shall be returned.
