§ 2-229. Legislative intent.

The council hereby declares the legislative intent of this division is to achieve the most effective possible coordination and utilization of all resources of the city and the school district that may serve the recreational, educational, cultural and social needs of the people of the city. To that end, the council and board of education hereby intend to establish a city-school coordinating commission.
