§ 2-4. Denver Day.

On the first Saturday of August in each year, hereafter to be known as "Denver Day", appropriate observance may be held by the public in commemoration of the original founding and incorporation of Denver City; the official designation of Denver as the capital of the State of Colorado; and the later establishment of the City and County of Denver.
