§ 2-2. Notice of claim for property damage.

Before the city shall be liable for property damages to any person, the person so damaged, or someone on the person's behalf, shall, within ninety (90) days after incurring of such damages, give the mayor notice, in writing, of such damages, stating fully, in such notice when, where, and how the damages occurred and the extent thereof. Notice of claim for personal injuries shall be given as provided by the Charter and the general laws.
