§ 20-24. Purchase of capital equipment.

When an agency has lawfully encumbered funds for the purchase of capital equipment, the encumbrance and the encumbered funds shall be carried forward from year to year until the transaction is completed. No city council action, other than the original authorization of the equipment and approval of the funds for the purchase of the equipment, shall be required.
