§ 17-69. Causes for denial.

  • No license shall be issued under this division to any of the following persons:

    (1)

    Any person under the age of eighteen (18) years;

    (2)

    Any person who has been convicted of a felony or crimes involving moral turpitude, who cannot demonstrate that such person has been sufficiently rehabilitated to accept the responsibilities incumbent upon a holder of a license to operate a private emergency vehicle;

    (3)

    A person whose state operator's license has been suspended or revoked during the preceding three (3) years;

    (4)

    Any person whose physical or mental condition is such so as not to warrant confidence that such person will not jeopardize the health, safety or welfare of any person;

    (5)

    Any person whose application for an original license or for renewal of an existing license has not been approved by the manager of safety.
