§ 17-29. Required.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a medical vehicle service anywhere within the city without first obtaining a license from the director of excise and licenses as provided in this division.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person, other than an emergency medical technician, to operate a surface emergency or nonemergency medical vehicle, or to act in the capacity of a nonemergency medical vehicle operator, anywhere within the city without first obtaining the appropriate license from the director of excise and licenses as provided in this division.
